Investigation into Shooting at 1776 Gessner Drive

March 24, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of two males and a female at 1776 Gessner Drive about 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday (March 23).

Two victims, a male, 19, and a female, 17, suffered gunshot wounds and were transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in unknown conditions. A third victim, a 16-year-old male, suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in an unknown condition.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Countryman and Officers B. Oxspring, K. Lopez and J. French reported:

The three victims were sitting at picnic tables in the courtyard of the Gessner Park Apartments when they were approached by an unknown male suspect. The suspect then pulled out a pistol, shot at the victims and fled the scene on foot.

The suspect is described only as a Hispanic male.
