Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 10051 Westpark Drive

May 18, 2010 - Two victims, Balraj Dulai Singh, 30, of the above address, and Justin Colby Eaton, 27, of Houston, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene. A third victim, in his 40s, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he later died. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Dillingham and Senior Police Officer J. Bonaby III reported:

Singh, Eaton and the unidentified victim returned from a road trip in a rental vehicle they used to transport marijuana back to Houston. Three unknown black male suspects in an early 1990s, gray four-door Chevrolet Suburban were waiting for them in the parking lot of 10051 Westpark. As the victims entered unit #213, two of the suspects approached the men. One of the suspects produced a handgun and fired at the victims while inside the apartment. The suspects then fled the scene.

Further investigation determined the suspects had stolen an unknown amount of marijuana from the victims.
