Investigation into Shooting of Man Found at 4600 Blaffer Street


November 15, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man found at 4600 Blaffer Street about 8:30 a.m. on Sunday (Nov. 14).

The victim, Jason Waldrup, 22, of Houston, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he remains in critical condition. 

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Harris and Senior Police Officer M. Waters II reported: 

Mr. Waldrup was found lying in the 4600 Block of Blaffer St with a bleeding head wound, but he appeared to be breathing.  The person who found him called 9-1-1.  Paramedics transported Waldrup to Ben Taub General Hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

There are no known witnesses or suspects in the shooting at this time.
