Fatal Shooting at 1819 Chantilly


October 11, 2010 -Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 1819 Chantilly about 3 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 10).

The victim, Justin Thompson, 19, of the above address, suffered a gunshot wound to the left shoulder and was taken to Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Williams and Officer M. Khan reported:

After he was wounded, Mr. Thompson was taken by a private vehicle to the hospital. The male who transported Thompson told investigators he and Thompson had been at the above address with other people. The male stated Thompson was shot while some of those other people were taking part in criminal activity. It is not known what activity the suspects were engaging in or if Thompson was taking part or simply a bystander.

The suspects are described only as a black male with braces and a black or Hispanic male with his hair pulled back and tied. They were last seen in a gold or tan four-door Buick with unknown license plates.
