Investigation into Female's Death at 4200 Westpark


September 20, 2010 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found at 4200 Westpark about 10:30 p.m. on Sunday (Sept. 19). 

The identity of the female victim, 42, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Officers P. Vela and T. Andrade reported: 

Patrol officers were dispatched to a person down call at the above location.  They arrived and found a female lying in a moving lane of traffic.  She was unconscious and not breathing.  HFD paramedics arrived and pronounced the woman dead at the scene.  The woman had suffered trauma to the back of her head and scrapes and bruises on her body.  An autopsy will be performed to determine her cause of death.
