August 22, 2011 - Charges are pending against a suspect arrested in the death of a woman found at 8039 Boone Road about 11:55 a.m. on Sunday (Aug. 21).

The suspect, Salome Nicanor Juarez (H/m, DOB: 6-14-78), faces a charge of murder in the death of his wife, Ines Aguilar, 31, of the above address.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W.L. Meeler and Officer J.L. French reported:

Officers responded to the above residence to a reported suicide call. When officers arrived, they noticed bruising to Ms. Aguilar's neck that was inconsistent with the reported method of suicide. Aguilar was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Juarez was questioned by investigators and admitted he assaulted his wife prior to her death.
