Investigation into Skeletal Remains Found at 2055 Hayes

June 17, 2011 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male whose skeletal remains were found at 2055 Hayes about 7:40 on Thursday (June 16).

The male's identity and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Rodriguez and Senior Police Officer B. Oxspring reported:

Patrol officers responded to a deceased person call in a wooded area near the above location.  The victim's skeletal remains were found by an employee clearing brush on the property.  A preliminary investigation showed no signs of foul play in the victim's death.
