Fatal Stabbing at 11490 Harwin

June 17, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man at 11490 Harwin about 9 p.m. on Thursday (June 16).

The identity of the victim, 70, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Biggs and Officer M. Condon reported:

The victim was inside his van traveling east on Harwin and stopped at the red light at Boone Road when a witness heard an argument between a female and males from inside the van.  A black female and two black males were then seen running from the van, which then drove several hundred yards and crashed through a metal fence to an apartment complex.  The victim was found with at least one stab wound to the right leg and was pronounced dead at the scene.
