Investigation into Man Found Deceased at 13040 Market Street


March 4, 2011 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 13040 Market Street about 4:30 p.m. on Thursday (March 3).

The identity of the victim, in his late 40s, and his cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Officers B. Oxspring and M. Condon reported:

Witnesses saw the body of a male (victim) in Greens Bayou and called the Harris County Sheriff's Office, who responded and recovered the body.  HPD investigators responded and determined the victim was wearing two pairs of blue jeans (black and blue), a red and green long sleeve plaid shirt, a brown-striped under shirt and black work boots.
