Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 6120 Bellaire Boulevard


March 15, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male at 6120 Bellaire Boulevard about 7:50 p.m. on Monday (March 14).

The victim, 15, of Houston, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Torres and Senior Police Officer J. Johnston reported:

The victim and another male teen were sitting on the apartment complex stairs when they were approached by an unknown Hispanic male, who pulled a weapon and fired several times, striking the victim.  The other male teen was not hurt.

The suspect is described only as a Hispanic male, dressed in all blue, with a blue bandana over his face.  He fled the scene on foot.
