March 21, 2011 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a female found at 600 Altic about 7:30 a.m. last Friday (March 18).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants W. Elsbury, K. McGray and Senior Police Officer T. Tyler reported:

Officers responded to a person down call at the above address and discovered the female victim deceased in a shallow ditch just off the roadway.  Her cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy.
