Fatal Shooting at 6200 West Bellfort


March 21, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of two men at 6200 West Bellfort about 2 a.m. on Sunday (March 20).

The identities of the victims are pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant G. Gonzales and Officer R. Olive reported:

The victims were in the parking lot of the apartment complex at the above address, waiting for the suspect to arrive so they could return a phone to him.  The phone was originally found at a convenience store in the 11100 block of Albury.

When the suspect arrived at the complex, he opened fire on both victims, killing one in the parking lot.  The suspect then chased after the second victim and fatally shot him in another area of the apartment complex.  The suspect then fled the scene in a dark, four-door car, possibly a Honda Accord.
