May 27, 2011 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found at 2216 Pech Road about 7:30 p.m. on Thursday (May 26).

The victim, Louann Harris, 56, was pronounced dead of unknown causes.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Biggs and Officer B. Oxspring reported:

Patrol officers responded to a deceased person call in the parking lot of a business at the above location after workers found Ms. Harris unresponsive.  HFD emergency personnel arrived and pronounced her dead.  A preliminary investigation indicated there are no signs of foul play in this incident.

The investigation is pending Ms. Harris' cause of death to be determined by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
