Update: Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 12909 Orleans


May 27, 2011 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a woman at 12909 Orleans about 11:10 p.m. on Thursday (May 26).

Jesus Gonzalez (H/m, DOB: 12-24-70) is charged with murder in the 177th State District Court for his role in the death of his wife, Alicia Saldana Gonzalez, 36, of the above address.  Mrs. Gonzalez suffered multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer E.J. Castaneda and Officer J. Sosa reported:

The Gonzalezes were arguing over marital issues when Jesus Gonzalez pulled a knife and then stabbed Alicia Gonzalez multiple times.  Jesus Gonzalez was taken into custody at the scene without incident.
