Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 10100 Greenfork

November 7, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male found at 10100 Greenfork about 7:15 a.m. on Sunday (Nov. 6).

The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. McGray and Senior Police Officer T. Tyler reported:

Houston Fire Department personnel responded to a reported person down call at the above address.  When they arrived, they found the body of the victim in a parking lot.

There are no known witnesses to the shooting.  However, several nearby residents reported hearing gunshots sometime between 3:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m.
