UPDATE: Two Arrested, Two Others Sought in Fatal Shooting at 5400 Madden

November 9, 2011 - Charges have been filed against four suspects - two in custody and two who are wanted - in the fatal shooting of a man at 5400 Madden about 11:15 p.m. on Nov. 2.

Darryl Thomas Reed (b/m, DOB: 1-20-93) and a 15-year-old female suspect are in custody.  Two others, Timothy Leonard Robinson (b/m, DOB: 2-13-94) and Jacobe Benard White (b/m, DOB: 8-27-90) are being sought at this time.  The adult suspects are charged with capital murder in the 177th State District Court.  The juvenile female is referred to Harris County Juvenile Probation authorities on the same charge.  Photos of the three adult suspects are attached to this news release.

The suspects are accused for their roles in the killing of Phillip Little, 40, of Houston.  Mr. Little was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. L. Meeler and Officers J. L. French and R. C. Lujan reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a traffic accident at the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Canterway.  Officers arrived and found Mr. Little slumped over the steering wheel in his vehicle.

An investigation determined Little was a Domino's Pizza delivery driver who was sent for a delivery to the above location.  Witnesses reported hearing several gunshots in the 5900 block of Madden and then a car squealing out of the area.

Further investigation identified four individuals as suspects in the incident.  Reed was in the Harris County Jail on another charge when he was charged in this incident.  The juvenile female was taken into custody without incident.  Timothy Robinson and Jacobe (pronounced as Jacoby) White have not been apprehended.

At this time, the motive in the shooting appears to be robbery.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of suspects Timothy Robinson and Jacobe White is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
