November 15, 2011 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found in the 3100 block of Chaffin about 11:35 a.m. on Monday (Nov. 14).

The identity and cause of death of the victim are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants T. Hanslik and W. Bush reported:

The victim was found in a vacant lot at the above location.  There were no apparent injuries and the investigation is pending the victim's cause of death.
