Police Seek Possible Victims of Suspect Arrested on Child Pornography

November 30, 2011 - Investigators in the Houston Police Department's Juvenile Division Sex Crimes Unit are asking for the public's assistance in identifying any potential young victims of a suspect arrested and charged in a child pornography investigation.

The suspect, Christopher Ian Hilton (b/m, DOB: 4-20-79), is charged with three counts of promotion of child pornography in the 184th State District Court.  A photo of Hilton is attached to this news release.

Hilton was arrested on November 17 without incident after authorities determined he was downloading child pornography on his home computer.

Investigators said Hilton's past employment history indicates he had access to children.  Information was obtained during the investigation that Hilton may also have molested several children.  As a result, HPD investigators are asking anyone who knows of such a child victimized by Hilton to contact the Juvenile Division at 713-731-5335.

NOTE:  At 2 p.m. TODAY (Wednesday, Nov. 30), an investigator in the Juvenile Division will be available to answer questions in this case in the first floor roll call room at the HPD Stringfellow Southeast Police Station at 8300 Mykawa Road.
