October 14, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9801 Meadowglen Lane #287 about 1:05 a.m. today.

The victim, 37, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer E. Castaneda and Officer J. Sosa reported:

Witnesses saw the victim's apartment door open and found the victim deceased and lying on the floor. Witnesses then called police. HPD patrol officers arrived and found the victim had been shot. Neighbors told police they heard loud voices and then multiple gunshots.

The are no known suspects at this time.
