Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 6370 Windswept #16

April 16, 2012 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a woman at 6370 Windswept #16 about 12:30 a.m. today (April 16).

The suspect, Manuel Sam Chojolan (H/m, DOB:  8-20-78), is charged with murder in the 183rd State District Court.  He is accused in the death of his girlfriend, Roberta Florida Tzunun’say, 36, of the above address.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer J. Villareal and Officer J. Horn reported:

Patrol officers responded to a stabbing call at the above location and discovered Ms. Tzunun’say lying on the floor of the apartment.  She had suffered a stab wound.  Her boyfriend, Chojolan, called police and was in the apartment when officers arrived.  Two of the woman’s family members and Chojolan were questioned by investigators.

Further investigation led to charges being filed against Chojolan and he was transported to jail.
