Investigation into Stabbing at 2409 Grant Road

August 22, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the stabbing of a man at 2409 Grant Road about 2:10 a.m..


The identity of the victim, 35, is pending notification to family members. He suffered a stab wound to the chest and is in critical condition at Ben Taub General Hospital.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Jewell and Senior Police Officer M. Miller reported:

A fight between two groups of men began in the parking lot of the Bayou City club at the above address. When a bystander (the victim) attempted to intervene and break up the fight, he was stabbed with an unknown type of knife. The victim was taken to the hospital with a life-threatening wound.

Witnesses stated the unknown Hispanic male suspects fled the scene in a four-door, silver Nissan Altima with Texas license plates DF1K312.
