Fatal Shooting at 60 West Parkwest

August 29, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 60 West Parkwest about 11:45 p.m. on Tuesday (Aug. 28).


The victim, Osasuyi Victor Uhunmwangho, 27, of Katy, was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Tolls and Senior Police Officer R. Cervantes reported:

Tenants of the Parkwest Townhomes at the above address heard gunshots coming from the street outside their homes. One of the tenants looked out the window and saw a black male crouched down and walking quickly away from another male (Uhunmwangho) lying in the street. HFD paramedics were called to the scene and transported Uhmnwangho to the hospital where he died.

The suspect is described only as a black male about 6 feet tall, weighing 200 to 250 pounds. He was wearing a white T-shirt and blue or black denim pants. It is believed he fled in a gray or silver Dodge Charger.
