Surveillance Video of Suspect in Robbery at 4010 Synott

December 26, 2012 - Investigators in the Houston Police Department Robbery Division have released surveillance video of a suspect wanted in the robbery of a business at 4010 Synott about 11 p.m. on November 12.


The suspect is described only as a black male in his 20s. He was armed with a silver pistol and carried a black backpack. Surveillance video of the suspect during the robbery is posted on the HPD YouTube channel at https://tinyurl.com/cd2gbxd.

Officers were called to the New Tony Express service station at the above location and were advised that a suspect robbed the business. After he pointed a gun at an employee, the suspect jumped over a counter to gain access to a cash register. Once the employee gave him money, the suspect attempted to leave through the front door, but could not. He then climbed through ceiling tiles and entered a neighboring business to escape.

At 10:30 a.m. TODAY (Wednesday, Dec. 26), a robbery investigator will be available to answer questions in this case in the Media Briefing Room on the first floor of HPD Headquarters at 1200 Travis.
