Investigation into Aggravated Assault at 3400 West Little York

February 29, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the aggravated assault of a man at 3400 West Little York about 11:20 p.m. on Tuesday (Feb. 28).

The victim, John Swan, 48, of Houston, suffered blunt force trauma and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants T. Simmons, P. Jewell, A. Carrillo and Officer R. Lujan reported:

Mr. Swan was found injured in the parking lot of a gas station at the above address.  He appeared to have injuries to his face and head and was transported to the hospital by HFD paramedics.  It has not been determined, at this time, if the assault occurred at 3400 Little York or another location.

There are no known motive nor suspect(s).
