Investigation into Child's Death at 9950 Club Creek

February 1, 2012 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a child at 9950 Club Creek about 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.


The victim, Candy Flores, 5, of the above address, suffered a contusion to the face and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts and Senior Police Officer K. Carr reported:

Candy was reported to have fallen from a bathroom toilet to the tile floor where she struck her forehead. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and attempted to revive Candy, but she died at the scene.

The investigation is pending the child's death cause of death to be determined by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
