Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 5542 Shamrock

July 27, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5542 Shamrock about 6 p.m. Wednesday (July 25).

The victim, Corie Doyle, 29, of the above address, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was later pronounced dead on Thursday (July 26). 

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer S. Straughter reported:

Mr. Doyle was standing in his driveway at the above address when a white SUV with two suspects, described only as black males, drove up.  One of the suspects got out of the vehicle and shot Doyle several times.  Doyle was then transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.  The suspects fled in the SUV in an unknown direction.
