Man Found Deceased Following Fire at 1908 Dismuke

March 12, 2012 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 1908 Dismuke about 9:20 p.m. last Friday (March 9).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant D. Hayes and Officers J. Villareal and T. Andrade reported:

Patrol officers responded to a call for service at the above address and found a vacant residence engulfed in flames.  Houston Fire Department personnel extinguished the fire and discovered a male deceased inside.  At this time, the circumstances involving the death are not known.  HFD arson officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
