Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 3719 Alice Street

May 2, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3719 Alice Street about 4:35 p.m. on Tuesday (May 1).

The victim, Brandon Marquis Bryant, 28, of Houston, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Torres and Senior Police Officer S. Anderson reported:

Mr. Bryant was stopped on the side of the road at the above location with his car door open.  At some point, Bryant was shot by one or possibly two unknown male suspects.  Bryant then drove about one block to his residence in the 3700 block of Idaho.  He was then transported by HFD paramedics to the hospital.

The suspects are described only as one or two black males.
