Suspect Sought in Fatal Traffic Accident at 9120 Winkler

May 21, 2012 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run traffic accident at 9120 Winkler about 5:20 a.m. on Sunday (May 20).

The male pedestrian, 33, of Pasadena, was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant C. Park and Officer T. Riley reported:

According to witnesses, a male was driving erratically through the parking lot of the Club Olympus when his black Dodge Ram pickup truck struck the victim.  The pickup truck then struck a parked Nissan Armada with two females inside.  Neither female was injured.  The driver (suspect) of the Dodge then fled the scene with damage to the front left portion of the truck.
