Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 2111 Holly Hall

May 25, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 2111 Holly Hall about 11:30 p.m. on Thursday (May 24).

The victim, Jack Bell Tenas, 24, of Missouri City, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer R. Swainson reported: 

Mr. Tenas left his residence with a female friend and traveled to an apartment complex at the above location, where an acquaintance was waiting for them.  As Tenas, the female and the acquaintance were talking, three unknown male suspects approached Tenas' truck.  As the suspects attempted to pull Tenas from the truck, one of the suspects shot through the driver's door window, fatally striking Tenas.  Several witnesses who heard the gunshots exited their apartment and saw the suspects flee on foot.  Tenas' female friend suffered a non life-threatening gunshot wound and she was treated and released at an area hospital. 

The suspects are described only as three black males.  Two of the suspects wore white hoodies.  The third is 18 to 24 years of age, with a thin build, wearing a black hoodie and armed with a shotgun.
