Fatal Shooting at 406 East 43rd

September 4, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another at 406 East 43rd about 8:20 p.m. last Friday (Aug. 31).

One male victim, 26, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.  His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  The other male was hospitalized in stable condition. 

HPD Homicide Division Officers J. Dominguez, M. Chaney and D. Fontenot reported:

The two victims were in the driveway at the above residence when they got into an argument with an unknown suspect.  When the argument escalated, the suspect pulled a gun and shot both victims multiple times.  The suspect fled the scene before officers and paramedics arrived.
