Surveillance Video of Suspect Wanted in Eastside Burglaries

September 7, 2012 - *******NOTE: TIME AND LOCATION OF AVAILABILITY******** Houston police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in at least two burglary cases in east Houston.

The suspect is described only as a Hispanic male.  Surveillance video of the suspect can be viewed at the HPD You Tube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTQ5tAn6jbk&feature=plcp  Surveillance photos of the suspect are attached to this news release.

Two of the incidents occurred at the following locations: 

  • July 29 - 4:40 a.m. - 6935 Harrisburg - Popeyes
  • July 30 - 11 p.m - 6501 Harrisburg - Hartz Chicken Buffet


In both cases, the suspect forcibly entered the business and stole an undetermined amount of cash.  The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information in either of these cases is urged to contact the HPD Investigative First Responder Division at 713-4624 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.

At 10 a.m. TODAY (Friday, Sept. 7), an investigator from the HPD Investigative First Responder Division will be available to answer questions regarding this case at the Eastside Patrol Station, 7525 Sherman.
