April 29, 2013 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 2300 Staff Sergeant Macario Garcia Drive about 10:10 p.m. last Friday (April 26).

The identity of the deceased male, 24, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant T. Trometer and Officer T. Hines reported:

The victim was operating a Yamaha motorcycle at a high rate of speed when he lost control and struck a concrete barrier at the above address. He was ejected off an overpass and fell about 30 feet to the ground. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
