December 11, 2013 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found in the 9800 block of Forum Park Drive about 1:40 a.m. today.

The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Pool and Senior Police Officer T. Tyler reported:

A witness driving in the 9800 block of Forum Park Drive saw the victim's body in the street and called 911. When officers arrived, additional witnesses reported hearing gunshots from an adjacent apartment complex before the victim was found. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
