HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Blain and Senior Police Officer M. Condon reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found Mr. Lizama had suffered a gunshot wound to the head. Witnesses heard arguing and a gun shot, and then saw a dark brown, two-door Toyota car speeding away. Further investigation determined Rodriguez and Lizama got into an argument. At some point, Rodriguez shot and killed Lizama, stole his vehicle and fled the scene. Lizama's vehicle was recovered early Tuesday morning (Feb. 19). Rodriguez was taken into custody later that same day without incident.
