July 15, 2013 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 8000 Gulf Freeway (South Interstate Highway 45) about 9:45 a.m. on Sunday (July 14).

The victim, Ricky Cauley, 59, was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Hospital. 

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Francois and Senior Police Officer R. Davidson reported:

The victim was driving a maroon Toyota Tundra pickup truck on the southbound lanes of the Gulf Freeway when, for unknown reasons, the truck struck a concrete barrier and then rolled over.  Paramedics transported the driver to the hospital where he died later Sunday evening.
