Composite Sketch of Suspect Wanted in Sexual Assault Investigation

July 26, 2013 - Houston police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in at least three sexual assault cases in southeast Houston.

The suspect is described only as a black male in his late 20s.  He is about 6 feet tall, with a medium build and a medium complexion.  He has a "wide" smile and a fade-style haircut.

A composite sketch of the wanted suspect is attached to this news release.

The incidents occurred on the following dates and times:

  • May 24 - 2:15 a.m.
  • May 31- 11:10 p.m.
  • July 3 - 3:50 a.m.

In each incident, the suspect was driving a white, newer model four-door vehicle with light tint on the windows and a dark interior.  He picked up the victims and drove them to a vacant residence where he physically and sexually assaulted them.

In the most recent incident, the female victim was walking in the area of Yellowstone and Martin Luther King Boulevard when the suspect, driving a white four-door vehicle, approached her and asked if she wanted a ride.  The suspect managed to talk the victim into accepting the ride and then drove her to a vacant residence in the 5900 Southtown.  The suspect then forced the victim out of the car and took her to the back of the house where he physically and sexually assaulted her. The suspect then took the victim's purse.  The victim struggled with the suspect and managed to escape.

Anyone with information in these cases or on the identity of the wanted suspect is urged to contact the HPD Special Crimes Division at 713-308-1100 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
