March 04, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 9110 Scott about 6 a.m. on Sunday (March 3).

The victim, Gilbert Robertson, 39, of Houston, suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Countryman and Officer R. Olive reported:

Mr. Robertson was involved in an altercation with a group of unknown males at an after-hours club at the above address.  As security guards escorted he and the males out of the club, the males ran through the parking lot.  Moments later, several gunshots were fired by multiple individuals.  One of the shooters was seen driving a black, newer model truck as it fled the location.  Paramedics were called and transported Robertson to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
