March 20, 2012 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found at 1962 Reed Road about 3:40 p.m. on Monday (March 18). 

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. 

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Torres and Officer D. Fontenot reported: 

HPD patrol officers responded to a call of a possibly deceased person at E.R. Ann Taylor Park at the above address.  Witnesses told officers they discovered a woman's body in a wooded area of the park. 

The investigation is pending the victim's cause of death.
