Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 1325 Cedar Post

May 29, 2013 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 1325 Cedar Post about 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday (May 28).

The victim, Adam Sandoval, 18, of Houston, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Racus and Senior Police Officer L. Lovelace reported:

Mr. Sandoval was parked in front of an apartment complex at the above address when he was approached by someone described only as a Hispanic male.  A short time later, Sandoval drove his vehicle in reverse and struck a tree.  He was then shot several times by a second Hispanic male.  Both suspects fled the scene on foot, running westbound through the apartment complex.

One suspect is described only at a Hispanic male, about 18 years old, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, clean shaven, with a skinny build and short black hair.  The second suspect is described as being of a similar age and build.
