Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 7700 Romea

November 4, 2013 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 7700 Romea about 9:20 p.m. on Sunday (Nov. 3).  

The victim, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer C. Scales and Officer T. Ferguson reported:  

The victim was found deceased on the side of the road at the above address.  He had been shot several times.  A witness told police he heard gun shots and then saw a dark-colored sports utility vehicle leaving the scene.  

At this time, there is no known motive nor suspect(s).
