November 6, 2013 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a juvenile male at 8920 Beechnut about 8:10 p.m. on Tuesday (Nov. 5).  

The victim, Javier Alejo, 14, of Houston, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants J. Brooks, C. Cegielski and Officers K. Daignault and N. Rosenblatt reported:  

Mr. Alejo was sitting outside his apartment when he was fatally shot by two unknown suspects. Immediately after the shooting, the suspects ran to their vehicle, a white or silver four-door sedan, and fled the scene in an unknown direction.   

The suspects are described only as a Hispanic male and a black male.
