November 6, 2013 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7116 Avenue B about 9:25 p.m. on Tuesday (Nov. 5).

The victim, 50, was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Howard and Officer R. Lujan reported:

HPD patrol officers called to the above location found the victim dead.  At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspects in the shooting.
