Suspect Arrested, Charged in Male's Death at 9211 Kingsflower Circle

November 12, 2013 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the death of a man at 9211 Kingsflower Circle about 1:30 a.m. on Sunday (Nov. 10).  

The suspect, Mucio Torres (H/m, DOB: 9-8-68), is charged with murder in the 230th State District Court.  He is accused in the killing of Robert Christopher Parker, 43, of the above address.  Mr. Parker suffered gunshot and stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Parker and Senior Police Officer S. Straughter reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a 9-1-1 call from a male who claimed to have killed someone at the above address.  Officers arrived and, as they detained several persons for questioning, found Mr. Parker deceased.  

Further investigation determined Parker and Torres had gotten into an argument, which resulted in Torres killing Parker.  Torres was then taken into custody and subsequently charged in Parker's death.
