Suspect Charged, Wanted in Sex Assault of a Juvenile

November 13, 2013 - Houston police are seeking the public's help in locating a suspect charged and wanted in the sexual assault of a juvenile.

The suspect, Forrest Wayne (w/m, DOB: 2-23-72), is charged with aggravated sex assault of a child in the 351st State District Court.  A photo of Forrest is attached to this news release.

Please note, the investigators are not currently available for interviews on this case.

HPD Juvenile Division Sergeant L. White and Officer M. Burroughs reported:

In July, Wayne befriended the 13-year-old female victim while he was working as a fitness instructor.  He used text messages and phone calls to start a relationship with the girl.  That relationship led to Forrest engaging in mutliple sexual encounters with the victim at a hotel located in the 9500 block of the Katy Freeway.

Wayne remains at large at this time, but is known to frequent the west side of Houston.  Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the HPD Juvenile Division at 713-731-5356 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
