Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 3708 Delano

November 25, 2013 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a woman at 3708 Delano about 7:10 a.m. on Sunday (Nov. 24).

The suspect, Herman Junior Johnson (b/m, DOB: 10-25-61), is charged with murder in the 209th State District Court for his role in the killing of his wife, Kimberly Johnson, 43, of the above address.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Meeler and Senior Police Officer J. Villareal reported:

Officers responded to a disturbance with weapons call at the residence at the above address and forced entry into the home where they located Mrs. Johnson deceased with multiple stab wounds.  Officers quickly learned the identity of the suspect as her husband, Herman Johnson.  He surrendered to investigators at HPD Headquarters and confessed to his role in his wife's killing.
