Fatal Shooting at 10300 Harwin

October 7, 2013 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 10300 Harwin about 6 a.m. last Saturday (Oct. 5).

The identity of the male victim, who died at the scene, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Elliott and Senior Police Officer K. Carr reported:

The victim was in the parking lot in front of the an after hours club at the above address when he got into an altercation with an unknown suspect(s). At some point during the altercation, the victim was shot and ran about one block west of the scene where he collapsed and died. Persons at the club then locked the doors and left the scene. A passing motorist then saw the victim and called 9-1-1.
