2nd Update: Third Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 12406 Tambourine

October 10, 2013 - Charges have been filed against a third suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man found at 12406 Tambourine Drive about 9:50 a.m. on Sept. 1.

The suspect Gerardo Arredondo (H/m, DOB: 10-22-94) is charged with capital murder in the 339th State District Court. He was taken into custody last Friday (Oct. 4).

Two other suspects, Osmin Enrique Hernandez (H/m, DOB: 2-22-79), charged with capital murder in the 339th State District Court and Mario Ernesto Paredes (H/m, DOB: 5-7-82), charged with murder in the 209th State District Court are also in custody for their roles in the killing of Jhon Carlos Bermudez-Gilces, 25, of Houston.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers X. Avila and J. Sosa reported:

Mr. Bermudez-Gilces was found lying in the grass between two residences at the above address. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A preliminary investigation identified Hernandez and Paredes as suspects in this case. Both were arrested on Sept. 13 without incident. Further investigation identified Arredondo as the third suspect and he was subsequently arrested and charged.
