Investigation into Fatal Traffic Accident at 400 North Loop West

October 21, 2013 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 400 North Loop West (North Interstate Highway 610 West) about 3:25 a.m. on Sunday (Oct. 20).

The male victim, 32, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant B. Rogers and Officer F. Flynn reported:

The driver of a blue Chevrolet sedan was eastbound on the North Loop when her vehicle was struck by a blue Toyota Camry. Both vehicles stopped. While the driver of the Camry (the victim) was standing in the roadway, he was struck by a blue Honda Civic. the driver of the Honda was questioned at the scene.

The investigation is continuing.
