In addition, suspects Corey Hilton (b/m, DOB: 4-12-93) and Mario Hilton (b/m, DOB: 6-10-95) are both arrested and charged with capital murder in the 182nd State District Court.  A fourth suspect, Kenya D. Jackson (DOB: 2-19-93) is also charged with capital murder in the same court.

Jackson remains at-large and a photo of him is attached to this news release.

The deceased victim is identified as Robert G. Placette, 64, of Katy.  The other wounded victim, 43, sustained non life-threatening wounds.

Suspects Corey and Mario Hilton and Kenya Jackson, all wearing bandanas and masks, entered the Denny's restaurant at the above location and immediately fired several shots.  They ordered all customers and employees to the floor and demanded their property.  During the robbery, Mr. Placette and a restaurant employee were shot.  The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown minivan.

Placette was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Hospital and the other victim was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital in stable condition.

Further information led to the identification of the Hiltons and Jackson as suspects in this case.  On Friday (Sept. 6), all three were charged and Corey and Mario Hilton were arrested.  Jackson remains at-large.

Further investigation then led to the identification of Houston as an additional suspect in this case and on Monday (Sept. 9) he was arrested in Houston without incident by HPD homicide detectives.

The investigation into the incident continues.
